Waikato Golf is the regional district body to 43 member clubs, covering an extensive area of the Waikato. Waikato Golf have a diverse range of clubs scattered over a wide geographic area, but all are friendly and welcoming to visitors. It is the friendliness, together with the accessibility and affordability of our clubs which is the outstanding feature of golf in the Waikato.
Rotorua is spoilt for choice for golfing enthusiasts and others just wanting a leisurely stroll whilst chasing the white ball. There are four affiliated golf courses in Rotorua and within an hour’s drive there a number more including the famous Wairakei course near Taupo. Each course has its own special attributes including Arikikapakapa (Rotorua) that has much thermal activity to negotiate. Lakeview is just that, perched high above the Rotorua Lake the views are splendid. Then there is Springfield which is heavily treed making accurate golf an essential to play a good score. The last of the four courses in Rotorua is Government Gardens which is located near to the City centre. This is a flat course and along with Lakeview has a driving range to hone your skills. Each course offer ‘special rates’ very often and all have clubs and carts for hire should you need them.

Rarangi Golf Club - nestled between forest-clad hills and the Cloudy Bay beach is the gem of Marlborough golf courses. Tree-lined and flat with some of the most testing greens in the “top-of-the South” the course may be enjoyed at any time of the year. Rarangi lies about 20 kms north of Blenheim just off the main highway to Picton. It is well sign-posted from the Tua Marina turn-off.
Marlborough Golf course is a wonderful golf course with challenges for all levels of players.
